While presenting the budget 2024-25, Finance Minister of Maharashtra State Ajit Pawar announced the launch of Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana for the educated unemployed youth and students of the state, through which vocational work training and skill training will be provided free of cost to the unemployed youth and students of the state so that they can get employment and reduce the unemployment rate in the state.
Under this scheme, the youth and students receiving training will also be provided a scholarship amount of Rs 10000 monthly by the government so that they can bear their daily expenses and become self-reliant. Under this scheme, every year about 10 lakh youth of the state will be provided vocational work training and skill training, for which the government has approved a budget of Rs 6000 crore.
