West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched the Oasis Scholarship Scheme 2024 to provide relief to financially weak students of the state from financial problems to complete their education. Through this scheme, scholarships will be provided every month to the students studying from class 09 to 12th of poor families of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and OBC category of the state. The scholarship amount provided through this scheme will be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible female students.
With the launch of this scheme, the students of the state will be encouraged to complete their studies and will not be dependent on anyone else to deposit fees for their studies, to buy any education-related material.
