Agneepath (Agniveer) New Sainik Samman Scheme Benefits
The central government of the country has renamed the Agneepath Scheme and made many changes in it and named it Sainik Samman Scheme 2024, due to which the details of the benefits that the youth joining the Indian Army of the country will get are as follows.
- 60% of the soldiers will be made permanent.
- The duty period will be 07 years. The training period will be 42 weeks.
- 45 days of leave will be available in a year. Family pension will be available after death.
- Under the Sainik Samman Yojana, new joiners will not be called ‘Agniveer’.
- A job guarantee will be available after retirement.
- Soldiers working on all technical posts will be made permanent.
- A fund of Rs 41 lakh will be received at the time of retirement.
- If a soldier dies, he will be given the status of a martyr and his family will be assisted Rs 75 lakh by the central government.
