Unified Pension Scheme 2024
With many changes and new rules in the pension amount of the government employees of the country, the central government has started the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) 2024 on 23 July 2024, through which all those government employees who have retired after serving at least 10 years of service or more or are going to retire with the outstanding amount by March 31, 2025, will get 50% pension of the salary received for the last 12 months at the time of retirement and if an employee dies, then his wife will be given 60% of the salary just before death as pension and employees will be paid a lump sum in addition to gratuity on retirement.
